![]() ![]() Picking the lords off (if you can't convert them) is where it's at. Get the big army before grabbing the claimant quest.įight lords of the faction you want to take, not villages or caravans which can lead to lower morale and loss of companions. More Charisma -> more persuasion and leadership. Not join the faction I start in (Rhodoks in my case), because the betrayal of that king will make it harder to cooperate with them when the time comes for the claimant quest. This way I would have friends there and at least a chance at some support from within when taking the claimant quest. Start the game questing in the region that I want to take over in the name of the claimant (For Arwa the Pearled one: Sarranid, for example). UPDATE (after ~100 days): What I now realize I should have done: My "army" is basically still in the war equivalent of nursing school. I have no rep with the lords of Sarranid. ![]() My question is: What the hell do I do now? I have no land, cities, castles or anything. I had no idea she would join the army, I thought it'd be more like a vassal to the king scenario. With a renown at 200 and an army of 60 (low tier) I managed to convince Arwa the Pearled One that I was the man for the job. ![]()
